Now in the exciting follow up, the all zoosters go on a new adventure and encounter new wild animals in Dreamworks’ Madagascar escape to Africa.

Ben Stiller : The first movie was, you know, really learning about the guys from the zoo and their life in the zoo and the friendships.
Gloriaaaa! Open eyes up! Open!
Cedric : You know they are in the zoo but they long to be where they’re from. Landing in the land of Madagascar they cannot be in this plushed++/plunged– jungle life.
I like funny games, they love to move their body!
Tom McGrath : Without the story was good in the first movie, the idea of civility versus savagery and a kind of alternative turns into a friendship story about this zoo animals and the friendship was tested when they got into the wild.
Eric Darnell : What would be the next logical thing to take this characters to a new place based upon what they’ve already learned and discover in Madagascar. So from there, we figure what let’s take them back to the place where at least their species come from so they can deal with what that may means to them and how that may relate to whether they do or do not, hawkmally/ oakmally(naivement) believe that they’re born in New York city.

Ben Stiller : The coming back home to New York and on the way back they have a little bit of a crash, a funnily crash.
It’s more fun when you raise your arms like this.
Ben Stiller : The pain is real to save day and of course they are not back in New York, but they’re in Africa and that where Alex meets his family. And Marty gets to run with the … they are all like him and … everybody … discovering a routes and getting back to the family.
Chris Rock : At first he’s kind of happy, then he could just steed in but after a while he’s kind of sad cause he’s not as special as he used to be. ….
First I’m really happy, then I’m going “No one’s paying attention to me.”
Jada Pinkett Smith : Melman being a sickly character, he is a … get back to my land cause he needs all types of medicines and he needs his doctor and hates there.
David Schwimmer : Actually there’s really pretty dramatic things happening to Melman in this one. He is in so pretty dangerous situations, life threatening situations and then a loco tells him he’s acquired a disease so he is completely sure he’s gonna die.
You really don’t have doctors here ?
Ben Stiller : David Schwimmer is so funny as Melman. He’s just amazing, the character always makes me laugh and Jada as Gloria has a great …with a new suiter in this film, that’s all sub… between her and Melman, is to me really one of the strongest elements in the movie.

Jada : You know it’s all about the friends really having … they just come together and just sit down and work it out.
Chris Rock : Alex has his father issues, I have my zebra issues. I can’t believe there is not a … in this movie.
